The 33 Gwaneum pilgrimage sites

The Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism has run this pilgrimage since 2009. Each of the 33 temples keeps a physical stamp of its own, and pilgrims carry a paper book for them. What you collect here is a separate digital note of the same route. Right now 33 of the 33 are linked to an entry in the public register.

The 33 names were taken from the Buddhist Newspaper report on the pilgrimage, and their locations from the pilgrimage guidance material, checked on 2026-08-25. Many temples in Korea share a name, so each entry is matched by location as well. This list does not replace the official pilgrimage book kept by the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism. Romanized from Korean under the Revised Romanization of Korean (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Notice 2014-42). It is a transcription, not an official English name.
