약600여년전 田씨성을 가진 거부가 충효심으로 서학산에 무학사라는 절을 창건하였으나 일제시대에 충효심을 없애기위해 서학산의 학암을 깨트려 진입로공사에 사용한후 폐허화 되었으나 安씨성을 가진분이 안양사를 중건하였고 그후 석천스님이 국태민안을 발원하는 충효심으로 중창한후 사찰명을 학림사라 함.
