고려 문종 33년 금산사 주지인 해덕왕사가 금산사 말사(용장사)로 건립 하였으나 정유재란 당시 모두 소실되어 1954년 용봉화상이 청룡사로 복원 건립함. 효종6년(1655) 조성된 관세음보살좌상을 봉안하고 있음
