신라 진흥왕 21년에 창건 원래 다보산 은적암이었으나 다보사가 폐허된 후 은적사로 개칭 철종 7년(1856)에 중수하여 현전함. 경내의 중앙에 북향으로 자리하고 있는 약사저과 뒷편 우측의 산령각만이 남아 있다
