법당 및 요사채 등은 1940년대경에 조영된 것으로 판단됨. 사찰경내 보물 제536호로 지정된 석조약사여래입상이 있어 그 제작년대로 보아 고려시대의 대표적인 장육불상으로 고려시대에 창건된 것임을알 수 있음.
