백련사 소속인 송광암 옛 터에다 1947년 능화스님이 중건. 사찰경내에는 1684년 제작된 목조여래좌상과 연대불명의 석조좌불상 등의 문화재와 81년에 중건한 대웅전,삼성각, 용화전 및 90년 건립한 선원,종각 등이 있음
