조선 효종 8년에 다포식 건물이며, 규모는 정면3칸,측면2칸이고 조선초기 주심포식을 가미한 기법이 대들보 윗부분에 보임. 단청이나 벽화에도 문양이나, 색채등이 조선초기의 양식을 보이고 있음.대광전이 보물제1120호로 지정됨
