수종사는 1460년(세조6)에 창건된 것으로 전해지고 있으며 그후 조선 후기에 고종이 중수하고 1974년 중건된 것으로 현재에 이르고 있다. 도유형문화재 22호 수종사5층석탑과 도유형문화재 157호 수종사부도가 있다
