선법사는 객산폭포와 약수터가 있고 뒤쪽에 객산이 있어 자연과 사찰이 어우러져 주변 경관이 수려하여 많은 등산객뿐만 아니라 신선하고 좋은 물을 가지려 끊임없이 사람들이 드나드는 곳 이다. 또한 약수터 옆에 보물 제981호로 지정된 태평2년명마애약사불좌상이 있어 시민들에게 전통 사찰과 문화재를 동시에 관람할 수 있는 일거양득의 장소이다.
