석천암(石泉庵)은 대야산 정상 가까이에 자리하고 있으며, 대한불교 조계종 제5교구 본사 법주사의 말사이다. 절에서 전하기로는 고려시대인 1300년 무렵 나옹(懶翁)스님에 의해 창건되었다고 하지만 그에 관한 문헌기록은 현재 전하는 것은 없다. 석천암은 1987년 소실된 뒤 중건하여 현재 대웅전, 산령각, 요사 2동이 있다. 신도회장 신정휴 833-8321
