법흥사는 주요 건물에 단층 겹치마 맛배지붕의 보광전과 단층 겹처마 팔작집의 설법당이 18세기말 내지 19세기초의 것이라 하며 기와 수리시에 발견된 가경 12년 정묘월이라는 명문 수막새기와 조선후기 불상 등을 보유하고 잇음.
