고려 충숙왕 8년에 창건. 조선 영조때 소실. 1930년 중건, 1960년 소실 후 같은해 중건하고 현재에 이름. 산신각, 용왕전 등을 신축하고, 1996년 이래 법당, 요사채 등을 신축중임.
