고려시대 창건 후 조선시대 없어졌던 것을 1962년 10월 공열우가 불당을 건축하였으며 1966년 3월 승려 변만규가 요사를 건축후 1970년 태고종에 등록하였고, 2003년 송담스님이 대웅전을 개축하였다.
