황산면 내산마을에서 1km거리의 補陀山 산록에 자리고 있는 道場寺는 조선후기에 창건된 사찰로소 대웅전의 오른편 방위에 [補陀山聖住寺]한 현판이 걸려 있어 도장사의 옛이름으로 추정된다. 대웅전은 정면 3칸, 측면 2칸의 맞배지붕으로 1935년에 중건 1938년에 중수 되었음. 대웅전 내에는 조선후기 작품으로 추정되는 목조 三尊佛, 後佛幀(순조26), 七星幀(19세기), 三藏幀(19세기)이 걸려 있다.
