내원사는 장곡면 광성리 오서산에 있는 고찰로 신라 무열왕 2년에 법명대사(法明大師)의 창건설과 고려후기 창건설이 있다. 2동 25평에 금동불(金銅佛) 2좌가 봉안되어 있다.
